A Look at Quidditch Practice
The Muggle Games is an intercollegiate student organization Quidditch tournament at Northern Illinois University.
On March 23rd from 9 AM - 5 PM teams will learn the rules of Quidditch and play against each other for the prestigous title of Muggle Games champion!
What will teams be doing in the tournament?
The morning will be devoted to teaching the rules of the game, and practicing to ensure a thorough understanding of how Quidditch is played.
During the second part of the day, teams will be organized into brackets and play against the many other student organizations of Northern.
Specifics:
Date: Saturday March 23, 2013
9 AM - 5 PM
Cost: $5.00 per participant
This covers the costs of the tournament, as well as additional fundraising for future Nargles events.
Team Size: 7-14
Exceptions can be made for smaller teams, and there will be a joinable Mercenary (Merc) Team for players not on a specific team.
Preferred Team Composition: Co-ed, 3:4 Ratio
Though we would prefer that teams are comprised of both men and women to even the playing field, exceptions can be made for single gender teams.

The Nargles Quidditch Team was formed in November of 2010 by Bridget Hickey. Since its inception, The Nargles have travelled to play against ISU, Kansas State, Mizzou, Marquette University, and many other colleges across the Midwest. In the picture to the left, the team takes a breather at the 2nd Annual Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore Memorial Tournament in South Bend, Indiana.
